To manage your locks, see “Managing Revision Locks” on page 298.<br />

When you no longer need the exclusive ability to change a member, you<br />

can unlock it again. This is normally done by default when you check the<br />

member in. You can unlock a member without checking it in, but your<br />

changes will not be recorded if you choose to do so.<br />

Depending on the permissions your administrator has defined, you may<br />

also be able to unlock a revision that is locked by another user.<br />

To unlock a member in the graphical user interface and Web interface<br />

Do one of the following:<br />

With a Project or Sandbox window open, select one or more locked<br />

members to unlock, then do one of the following:<br />

Select Member > Unlock.<br />

Click .<br />

With the Locks for <strong>User</strong> window open (see “Locks View” on<br />

page 428), select one or more locked members, then select Locks ><br />

Unlock.<br />

The revision is unlocked and the padlock symbol ( ) is removed.<br />
