Submitting Change Packages
Submitting Change Packages
Although you can submit operations individually, you can ensure that no
operations are missed by submitting a change package that contains
deferred operations. Deferred operations are visible only from the
Source Integrity Client, and are not committed to the repository until they
are submitted.
To submit change package in the graphical user interface
1 Do one of the following:
From the Manage Change Packages window (see “Managing
Change Packages” on page 206), select the change packages you
want to submit.
Display the desired change package in the Change Package
window (see “Viewing Change Package Details and Entries” on
page 211).
From a Sandbox window, select the member whose associated
change package you want to submit.
2 To submit the change package, do one of the following:
Select Change Package > Submit.
Click .
NOTE
Locked members with lock entries in a change package are checked in when
the change package is submitted.
3 All of the deferred operations in the change package are submitted.
Individual confirmations for each operation appear. To avoid repeated
confirmation, where possible click OK to All.
