To delete a member label in the graphical user interface and Web<br />

interface<br />

1 With a Project or Sandbox window open, select one or more members<br />

to delete labels from.<br />

2 In the GUI, select Member > Properties > Delete Label.<br />

In the Web, select Member > Delete Label.<br />

The Delete Label dialog box appears.<br />

3 Select a label to delete from the Label list.<br />

TIP<br />

You can also delete a member’s labels in the Member Information dialog box.<br />

4 To accept the deletion, click OK (for multiple members, click OK to<br />

All).<br />

The member label is deleted.<br />

Promotion is the process of managing data as it moves through a<br />

structured development cycle. Each phase is represented by states that are<br />

defined by the administrator. Project members can also be demoted to a<br />

predefined lower state.<br />

At particular milestones, project members are ready to move to the next<br />

stage of their development cycle (for example, from Development to<br />

Test).<br />

If no state system is defined, a default value of Exp (Experimental) is<br />

assigned to all revisions.<br />
