Some sites check in projects daily, while others wait until significant new
functionality is added or until important members reach a particular
promotion state. This diagram shows a series of project checkpoints.
Source Integrity can checkpoint subprojects when a project is
checkpointed.
Using checkpointed projects, Source Integrity also allows you to view a
summary of the changes that have occurred between two versions of a
project.
Source Integrity Change Packages
Work may need to be performed on several members in order to address a
development issue. Source Integrity provides change packages that act as a
container to group all of the necessary changes together. When used to
control development, deferred member operations can be recorded as
change package entries, and then submitted at once to ensure a complete
resolution of the issue.
