Installing the Integrity Client
For UNIX systems, the Integrity Client installation program reports an error if
there is insufficient free space in the /tmp directory in the $HOME directory.
MKS does not certify any PC X-Servers. If your PC X-server provides full
support for Xwindows, the MKS client may operate.
For Windows, a dialog box appears asking you if you want to run
or save the installation program. The installation program file
name is mksclient.exe. Specify one of the following:
Run the installation program directly from its current
location (the CD).
Save the installation program to disk (a location you specify),
and run it from there.
Run, as appropriate for your platform, mksclient.exe or
mksclient.bin, which is located on the Integrity Client CD in
the appropriate installs directory.
3 If you are installing on a UNIX platform, complete the following steps
before continuing; otherwise, go to step 4.
Copy mksclient.bin to a temporary directory on your server
computer.
Make sure the environment variable $DISPLAY is set, if
appropriate.
To make mksclient.bin executable, run:
chmod +x mksclient.bin
To run the installation, type
./mksclient.bin
