Packages
Managing Change Packages
State displays current state of the change package, which can be Open
or Closed.
Summary displays the summary statement for the change package.
Additional columns are available in the client preferences. To change the
displayed columns, see the Change Packages View option in the “View
Preferences” on page 59.
From the Manage Change Packages window, you can perform the
following tasks using the Change Package menu:
View Change Package entries and information (see “Viewing Change
Package Details and Entries” on page 211)
View Issue that is associated with the change package (see “Viewing a
Change Package’s Issue” on page 346)
Submit the change package (see “Submitting Change Packages” on
page 221)
Close a Change Package (see “Closing a Change Package” on
page 219)
Edit an existing Change Package (see “Editing a Change Package” on
page 217)
Create a new Change Package (see “Creating a Change Package” on
page 203)
While the Manage Change Packages window only displays open change
packages that were created by you, Source Integrity provides you with a
way to search through all of the change packages that have been created by
anyone, including closed change packages.
If the Integrity Manager integration is enabled you can use a query to find
change packages based on complex criteria. See “Finding Change Packages
Using a Query” on page 347 for more information.
To find change packages in the graphical user interface
1 Select Tools > Find > Change Packages.
The Find Change Packages dialog box appears with the By Filer panel
displayed.
