Starting the Source Integrity Client
Ensure that the Integrity Server you are connecting to is the same version as
your Source Integrity client. Attempting to connect with an incompatible client
(for example, from an earlier version of Source Integrity or Vertical Sky
Software Manager) results in error messages and unpredictable behavior. To
determine the version of your Source Integrity client, select Help > About. The
client version is displayed on the dialog box. To determine the version of the
Integrity Server, contact your administrator, or in the command line interface,
use the si servers --showversion command.
To start the Source Integrity client graphical user interface on
Windows
Select Start > Programs > MKS Integrity > Source Integrity (default Start
menu shortcut).
To start the Source Integrity client graphical user interface on UNIX
1 Open a shell.
2 Type si gui or si -g.
To start the Source Integrity Web interface
1 Open a Web browser and, in the location or address field, type the
URL of the Integrity Server, for example:
http://abc.Business.com:7001
2 Press ENTER.
The Integrity Server welcome page opens.
The Integrity Server welcome page provides a link to the read-only
version of the Web interface. You can connect to the read-only Web
interface by clicking the read-only mode link displayed under Start
Source Integrity Enterprise Web Interface.
3 Click Start Source Integrity Web Interface.
The Enter Network Password dialog box appears.
