Adding Entries to an Issue’s Change Package
Once a change package has been created and associated with an issue, you
can add entries to that change package upon any one of the following
operations:
“Checking Out a Member” on page 163
“Checking In a Member” on page 172
“Renaming a Member” on page 180
“Locking a Member” on page 186
“Adding Members to a Project” on page 146
“Dropping Members From a Project” on page 158
Refer to the Change Package portion of the panel.
From the change package list, select a change package. The list presents the
Change package ID then the summary, for example, 13:1 Failed
Install.
NOTE
You can only add a member to an issue’s change package upon a check out and
locking a member if lock tracking is enabled. For more information on lock
tracking, see your administrator.
After the operation is completed, the entry is added to the change package.
The change package’s ID appears in the member’s C.P. ID (Change Package
ID) column of a Project or Sandbox window.
The change package ID is displayed as a hyperlink that automatically
opens Integrity Manager to the specified issue. For more information on
the integration, see “The Integrity Manager Integration” on page 339.
