Setting Preferences<br />

To be prompted for the default Integrity Server name and<br />

port number each time you log in to Source Integrity, select<br />

the Prompt for Host Name and Port option.<br />

Under <strong>User</strong> you can specify the following options:<br />

NOTE<br />

In the <strong>User</strong> Name field, type the user name you want to set as<br />

the default user.<br />

In the Password field, type a password for the user.<br />

If you want to be prompted for the default user name each<br />

time you log in to Source Integrity, select the Prompt for: <strong>User</strong><br />

Name option.<br />

If you want to be prompted for the default password each<br />

time you log in to Source Integrity, select the Prompt for:<br />

Password option.<br />

If the security scheme at your site is NT Single Signon (NTSS) the Prompt for:<br />

<strong>User</strong> Name and Prompt for: Password options are ignored unless you specify a<br />

user name that is different than the logged in user name. For information about<br />

your security scheme, see your administrator.<br />

Optionally, under SOCKS, you can specify a network proxy you<br />

want to connect to. In the Host Name field type the name of the<br />

server, for example, sockshost, or the numerical IP address, for<br />

example, 1.2.34.67. In the Port field, type the port number, for<br />

example, 7761.<br />

3 Do one of the following:<br />

Click OK to save your connection preferences without specifying<br />

any advanced proxy server settings. Your connection preferences<br />

are saved.<br />

Click the Proxy tab to specify advanced proxy server settings. The<br />

Proxy panel appears.<br />

CAUTION<br />

Do not change proxy settings when the client is connected to the<br />

Integrity Server.<br />
