Adding Entries to a Change Package<br />

Once a change package has been created, you can add entries to that<br />

change package upon any one of the following operations:<br />

“Checking Out a Member” on page 163<br />

“Checking In a Member” on page 172<br />

“Renaming a Member” on page 180<br />

“Locking a Member” on page 186<br />

“Adding Members to a Project” on page 146<br />

“Dropping Members From a Project” on page 158<br />

Refer to the Change Package portion of the panel.<br />

From the change package list, select a change package. The list presents the<br />

Change package ID then the summary, for example, 13:1 Failed<br />

Install.<br />

After the operation is completed, the entry is added to the change package.<br />

The change package’s ID appears in the member’s C.P. ID (Change Package<br />

ID) column of a Project or Sandbox window.<br />

If the change package contains deferred operations or lock entries, a<br />

icon is displayed beside the change package ID in the C.P. ID column.<br />

TIP<br />

You can also add a member to a change package by dragging the member from<br />

a sandbox window to a a change package window (or change package in the<br />

Manage Change Packages window). The Check Out dialog box appears with<br />

the change package selected. For more information, see “Checking Out a<br />

Member” on page 163.<br />
