Chapter 7: Using Change Packages<br />

The Change Package window displays the change package ID, person<br />

who created the change package, description (if one was provided),<br />

summary, date the change package was created, and the current<br />

change package state.<br />

By default, the Change Package window displays the following<br />

information for each change package entry:<br />

Type is the entry type of the change package entry. The possible<br />

types are Add, Drop, Lock, Rename, Update, Deferred Add,<br />

Deferred Drop, Deferred Check In, Deferred Rename.<br />

Member displays name of the member in the change package<br />

entry.<br />

When it is a Rename entry type, the member name is displayed<br />

with the form: newname(oldname).<br />

Revision displays the number of the revision in the change<br />

package entry.<br />

Sandbox displays the name of the sandbox where the deferred<br />

operation or check out took place.<br />

Project displays the name and path of the project that the member<br />

belongs to. If the entry occurred from a shared subproject, it is the<br />

subproject name and path that are displayed.<br />

Variant displays the name of the variant development path (if a<br />

variant was used) the change package entry occurred on.<br />

Date Changed displays the date the entry was made.<br />

Server displays the host name of the server the entry was made<br />

on.<br />

Additional columns are available in the client preferences. To change<br />

the displayed columns, see “View Preferences” on page 59.<br />
