From the Change Package view, you can view the member differences of
any change package entry.
For updates, Source Integrity compares the most recent revision checked
into the change package with its immediately preceding revision. For
example, if you want to view the differences for the member readme.txt
at revision 1.3, Source Integrity compares revisions 1.3 and 1.2,
displaying them in the Differences window
For lock entries in the GUI, Source Integrity compares the working file
with it’s immediately preceeding revision. You cannot difference a lock
entry that does not have an associated sandbox.
To view change package entry member differences in the Graphical
user interface
1 With the Manage Change Packages window open (see “Managing
Change Packages” on page 206), select the change package that
contains entries that you want to difference.
2 Do one of the following:
Select Change Package > View Change Package.
Double click the entry.
The Change Package window appears.
3 Select the change package entry you want to difference
4 Select Change Package Entry > View Differences.
The Differences window appears displaying the two revisions sideby-side,
highlighting the differences between them, or
Source Integrity informs you that there are no differences. For more
information, see “Comparing Differences” on page 192.
To view change package entry member differences in the Web
interface
1 In a Project window, select a member that has a change package
associated with it.
2 Under the C.P.ID column, click the number link for the change
package.
The Change Package view appears.
