Adding Labels<br />

3 Click an option tab, if necessary, then modify the set member revision<br />

options.<br />

The Selection tab allows you to select a revision to update to.<br />

To select a pre-defined revision to update, click Pre-Defined Revision,<br />

then choose a pre-defined revision from the list. The available predefined<br />

revisions are:<br />

Head updates the member revision to the member’s head<br />

revision.<br />

Trunk Tip updates the member revision to the latest revision in<br />

the trunk, independent of the default branch settings.<br />

Member Branch Tip updates the member revision to the latest<br />

revision along the member’s current branch of development.<br />

Working updates the member revision to the version of the<br />

working file.<br />

To select a specific revision, click Specific Revision, then click the<br />

Revisions or Labels tab to choose a revision.<br />

The Revisions tab allows you to select a specific revision to make<br />

the member revision.<br />

The Labels tab allows you to make a specific labeled revision the<br />

member revision.<br />

4 To set the member revision, click OK (for multiple members, click OK<br />

to All).<br />

The member is updated to the specified revision.<br />

Labels are unique text that describe and refer to a revision. Labels can be<br />

based on the product release the revision was included in, on the content of<br />

the revision, on changes made to the revision, or any other sort of<br />

information that would be useful in identifying that particular revision.<br />

Although you generally add a label to a new revision upon check in, there<br />

may be times when you want to add an additional label or change the label<br />

assigned to a revision.<br />

In the Web interface, Source Integrity displays up to three member labels<br />

in the Labels column of the Project window. If a member has more than<br />

three labels, Source Integrity displays a link ( ) that you can click to view<br />

all the member labels.<br />

Labels appear in alphabetical order in selection lists.<br />
