MITIGATION MEASURES
4. 12. I. Water
Implementation of mitigation measures 1 through 7, as identified in the Program EIR
and set forth below, may be required for the proposed project.87
1. Developers shall work with the City during the design phase to ensure adequate
water supply and service to the proposed project.
2. Individual development plans shall be submitted to the Glendale Fire Department
for review to ensure that adequate fire flows are provided to the project site prior
to final project approval.
3. Developers shall be responsible for funding the construction of all off-site storage
. tanks and pump stations as required to adequately serve the subject property.
4. Building construction shall include water conservation devices such as low flow
toilets, low volume shower heads, tum off adapters and faucet flow control.
5. Development projects shall have a minimum of landscaping requiring heavy
irrigation and shall include drought resistant planting.
6. Development plans shall be reviewed by the City to ensure that adequate flows
can be provided prior to project approval.
7. Sections of Title 20 and Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations regarding
water consumption and conservation will be enforced.
