Configuring the primary in a new One-To-Many cluster
This section provides instruction on configuring your primary for One-To-Many.
Follow the steps below.
Important: It is recommended that you perform a system backup before
configuring One-To-Many. See “Backing up system files” on page 638 for details.
Note: The entrelayd server will automatically become enabled in the cluster burb
when you configure One-To-Many.
1 Start the Admin Console, and log into the Sidewinder G2 that will become
the primary.
2 In the tool bar, select the icon to launch the State Change Wizard. (You

can also access the State Change Wizard by clicking the Sidewinder G2
icon in the Admin Console tree and then clicking the Change link.) The
Welcome window appears.
Click Next.
4 Select Not Enterprise Managed and click Next.
5 Select One-To-Many Cluster and click Next.
6 Select Create New Cluster and click Next.
7 In the One-To-Many Communication Configuration window, do the
following:
a In the Cluster Burb field, select the burb that will be used for intracluster
policy communication. This is generally a dedicated burb. For
information on creating a dedicated cluster burb, see “Configuring a
dedicated cluster burb for each Sidewinder G2” on page 477.
b In the Primary IP Address field, select the IP address of the burb you
selected in step a.
Note: This address is required when you are joining additional Sidewinder
G2s to the One-To-Many cluster.
8 Click Next. The State Change Summary window displays a list of the
actions that will be performed when you click Execute.
If you want to make changes to your configuration before executing, click
Back to navigate to the appropriate window(s) and make the necessary
changes.
When you are satisfied with the summary of changes, click Execute. A
progress bar will appear while the configuration changes are made. If the
transition is successful, the Success window appears displaying the new
state.
