502 Eri <strong>Lewis</strong>, born in Townsend, Mass., July 29,<br />

1796, lived at Mason, N. H., <strong>and</strong> afterwards removed to<br />

Townseud, Mass., <strong>and</strong> bought a farm, upon which he <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>his</strong> wife died. He married, Nov. 23, 1820, Roxie Going<br />

<strong>of</strong> Mason, N. H. He died July 29, 1871.<br />

873. ROXANA, b. June 24, 1822; m., June 13, 1844, Thomas Farrar,<br />

at Townsend. Child: (1) Flora C., b. Sept. 2, 1855; a music<br />

<strong>of</strong> Nathan <strong>and</strong> Betsey Brackett <strong>of</strong> Hillsboro, N. H.; school<br />

504 Ithra <strong>Lewis</strong>, born in Townsend, Mass., Jan.<br />

14, 1801, was a selectman in Lunenburg, Mass., eleven<br />

years, <strong>and</strong> a member <strong>of</strong> the legislature in 1845. He died<br />

Mar. 27, 1884, when it was written <strong>of</strong> him, "A gr<strong>and</strong><br />

old Hero is fallen." He married, first, Nov. 2, 1826, Mary<br />

Howard, born Feb. 15, 1804, <strong>and</strong> died Oct. 16, 1847,<br />

daughter <strong>of</strong> Deacon Timothy <strong>and</strong> Sarah (Scripture) Howard<br />

<strong>of</strong> Lunenburg. He married, second, May 2, 1848,<br />

Charlotte Brown, who died in Lunenburg, May 8, 1882,<br />

daughter <strong>of</strong> Peter <strong>and</strong> Theodosia (Ashley) Brown <strong>of</strong><br />

Lunenburg.<br />
