144 Benjamin <strong>Lewis</strong>, born in <strong>Lynn</strong>, Jan. 31, 1761,<br />
was a yeoman <strong>and</strong> cordwainer <strong>and</strong> lived in <strong>Lynn</strong>. He<br />
married, Nov. 29, 1792, Mrs. Rebecca (Mansfield) <strong>Lewis</strong>,<br />
widow <strong>of</strong> <strong>his</strong> Uncle <strong>Edmund</strong> <strong>Lewis</strong> (83). She died in<br />
1794 <strong>and</strong> he married, second, Apr. 14,1796, Mrs. Hannah<br />
(Richards) <strong>Lewis</strong>, widow <strong>of</strong> <strong>his</strong> brother Joseph (146).<br />
She died Oct. 14, 1813, <strong>and</strong> he died July 19, 1839.<br />

146 Joseph <strong>Lewis</strong>, born Feb. 4, 1765, in <strong>Lynn</strong>, married<br />
April 13, 1786, Hannah Richards. After <strong>his</strong> death<br />
<strong>his</strong> widow married, April 14, 1796, <strong>his</strong> brother Benjamin<br />
<strong>Lewis</strong> (144). She died Oct. 14, 1813.<br />

281. JOSEPH, b. Oct. 6. 1790. Was brought up in <strong>his</strong> uncle's familj<br />
<strong>and</strong> <strong>of</strong>ten called <strong>his</strong> son.<br />

147 Nathaniel <strong>Lewis</strong>, born in <strong>Lynn</strong>, in 1768, was a<br />
shoemaker <strong>and</strong> lived in <strong>Lynn</strong>, where he died Jan. 24,<br />
1824. He married Mar. 13, 1791, Rebecca Richards, who<br />
died Aug. 7, 1821.
