94 Thomas <strong>Lewis</strong>, born in Swansea, Mar. 22, 1726,<br />

received by <strong>his</strong> father's will 19 acres <strong>of</strong> l<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> half the<br />

house. His sister, Marcy or Mercy (100), left part <strong>of</strong> her<br />

property to <strong>his</strong> son Thomas, on condition that he provide<br />

<strong>and</strong> care for <strong>his</strong> parents during life. Jan. 4, 1763, he sold<br />

to Benjamin <strong>Lewis</strong> (103) <strong>of</strong> Dighton, 44 acres <strong>of</strong> l<strong>and</strong> in<br />

Swansea, lying westerly on l<strong>and</strong> <strong>of</strong> Abigail <strong>Lewis</strong> (Bristol<br />

County Deeds, Vol. 57, f. 102). He married, Jan. 14,<br />

1753, Hannah Martin, in Swansea.<br />

103 Benjamin <strong>Lewis</strong> was born in Swansea, Dec.<br />

21, 1733(?). He received money from <strong>his</strong> father for <strong>his</strong><br />

portion <strong>of</strong> the estate. He bought, Jan. 4, 1763, 44 acres,<br />

144 rods <strong>of</strong> l<strong>and</strong>, from Thomas (94) (Bristol County<br />

Deeds, Vol. 57, f. 102). He married, Aug. 22, 1754, Ruth<br />

Norton. His will, made April 9, 1767, proved April 27,<br />

1767, contains the following bequests: "Being sick,"<br />

etc. To beloved wife, two cows <strong>and</strong> all household goods
