571 Benjamin Humphreys <strong>Lewis</strong>, born in <strong>Lynn</strong>,<br />

Sept. 18, 1816, was a shoemaker, <strong>and</strong> lived in <strong>Lynn</strong>, where<br />

he died, July 6, 1876. He married in <strong>Lynn</strong>, Sept. 9, 1853,<br />

Hannah Chase, born in Henniker, N. H., April 11, 1824,<br />

who died in <strong>Lynn</strong>, June 9, 1899. She was the daughter<br />

<strong>of</strong> Jonathan <strong>and</strong> Patience (Peaslee) Chase <strong>of</strong> Henniker,<br />

N. H.<br />

Children <strong>of</strong> Benjamin Humphreys <strong>and</strong> Hannah, born in<br />

<strong>Lynn</strong>:<br />

Clark <strong>of</strong> Henniker, N. H. Had : (1) Lester Clark, b. in<br />

<strong>Lynn</strong>, June 4, 1902.<br />

These three brothers are engaged in the grocery business<br />

on <strong>Lewis</strong> street, <strong>Lynn</strong>.<br />

572 Otis <strong>Lewis</strong>, born in <strong>Lynn</strong>, Oct. 2, 1818, was a<br />

fisherman, <strong>and</strong> associated in business with <strong>his</strong> brother Asa.<br />

He lived in <strong>Lynn</strong>, where he died Jan. 12, 1893. He married<br />

in <strong>Lynn</strong>, Mar. 7, 1847, Harriet Osgood Straw, born<br />

in Hopkinton, N. PL, April 23, 1815, <strong>and</strong> died in <strong>Lynn</strong>,<br />

Dec. 4, 1878 (suicide). She was the daughter <strong>of</strong> William<br />

<strong>and</strong> Hannah (Huse, <strong>of</strong> Weare, N. H.) Straw <strong>of</strong> Hopkinton,<br />

N. H.<br />
