Beloit, Wis., in the 50s, <strong>and</strong> thence to Springfield, Mass.,<br />

in I860, where he died July 5, 1887. He married June<br />

11, 1851, Rebekah Partridge, born in Temple ton, Mass.,<br />

May 1, 1825, daughter <strong>of</strong> Otis <strong>and</strong> Unity (Fales) Partridge<br />

<strong>of</strong> Templeton, who died in Springfield, Mass., Aug.<br />

4, 1881.<br />

& Co. He left two daughters.<br />

828 Sumner West <strong>Lewis</strong>, born in Concord, Vt.,<br />

April 6, 1829, was a machinist by trade, <strong>and</strong> lived in West<br />

Concord, Vt., where he died Nov. 30, 1885. He served<br />

throughout the Civil War in the 8th regiment Vermont<br />

Infantry, <strong>and</strong> rose from the ranks to a lieutenancy. He
