Dec. 17, 1896. He married Nov. 9, 1862, Emily Ann,<br />
daughter <strong>of</strong> Rev. Josephus W. <strong>and</strong> Anna (Remington)<br />
Horton.<br />

772 Henry Bowers <strong>Lewis</strong> was born in Providence,<br />
R. I., Nov. 10, 1837, <strong>and</strong> died in Brooklyn, N. Y., in June,<br />
1878. He was a bookbinder <strong>and</strong> at the time <strong>of</strong> <strong>his</strong> death<br />
was foreman <strong>of</strong> the Methodist Book Concern <strong>of</strong> New<br />
York City. He married in Providence, R. I., July 2,<br />
1859, Mary S. Davis, b. Dec. 14, 1836, in Liverpool, Eng.,<br />
daughter <strong>of</strong> Francis <strong>and</strong> Rose (Kerrigan) Davis.<br />

Brown Dempster, born in Edinburgh, Scotl<strong>and</strong>, Feb. 24,<br />
1824, <strong>and</strong> died Mar. 18, 1907, at the home <strong>of</strong> her son<br />
Charles E. <strong>Lewis</strong>, in Burlington, Vt.<br />
