<strong>his</strong> sons James, Aaron, Levi, Andrew, Frederick A. <strong>and</strong><br />
William C., one dollar each ; to <strong>his</strong> son Merric all the rest<br />
<strong>and</strong> remainder <strong>of</strong> both real <strong>and</strong> personal estate, he to support<br />
<strong>and</strong> maintain <strong>his</strong> (James) beloved wife Lucy in <strong>his</strong><br />
present mansion house. He was married at Billerica by<br />
Rev. Henry Cummings on Dec. 19, 1782, to Lucy Crosby,<br />
born Nov. 10, 1765, daughter <strong>of</strong> Hezekiah <strong>and</strong> Lucy<br />
(Kittredge) Crosby <strong>of</strong> Billerica. He died in Groton, Dec.<br />
24, 1828, <strong>and</strong> <strong>his</strong> wife followed him six days later.<br />

where he died June 23, 1833. He married, Sally Marshall,<br />
who died in Lunenburg, Nov. 17, 1834, aged 67 years.<br />

25, 1790. He was a farmer in Groton until about 1830,<br />
when he removed <strong>his</strong> family to Weston, Vt., <strong>and</strong> after<br />
living there several years, moved back to the same place<br />
in Groton where he first lived, <strong>and</strong> where Asa, Abi <strong>and</strong><br />
Reuben died. His will, dated Dec. 4, 1862, was filed Jan.<br />
6, 1863. He married, first, Elizabeth Marble, born in
