1022. FRANK ROCKWELL, b. Sept. 6, 1856; ra. Oct. 2, 1883, in West-<br />

field, Mary Felton, dan. <strong>of</strong> Dr. Charles <strong>and</strong> Mary (Barker-<br />

Johnson) Germaine. Had, b. in Westfield: (1) Ella Germaine,<br />

b. July 12, 1884; (2) Richard Viets, b. Dec. 13,<br />

1885; (3) Catherine De Millie, b. June 24, 1888; (4) Elizabeth<br />

Allen, b. July 27, 1890.<br />

632 Albion Wesley <strong>Lewis</strong>, born in Northampton,<br />

Mass., May 8, 1828, lived in Westfield, Mass., most <strong>of</strong> <strong>his</strong><br />

life where he was well known <strong>and</strong> highly respected. He<br />

went to California around Cape Horn in 1850, where he<br />

remained several years. He learned the cabinetmaker's<br />

trade <strong>and</strong> was an expert workman. He was in the whip<br />

business for a while with Samuel Tryon, <strong>and</strong> also sold<br />

whips upon the road. At one time he was in the clothing<br />

firm <strong>of</strong> Loomis, <strong>Lewis</strong> & Co. He was a member <strong>of</strong> the<br />

46th regiment Mass. Volunteers, <strong>and</strong> in the 30th Company<br />

Unattached Artillery during the Civil War. Later he<br />

went South <strong>and</strong> engaged in the cotton business. He was<br />

a Knight Templar <strong>and</strong> 32 degree Mason. He died Mar.<br />

28, 1903. He married, Oct. 23, 1855, in Westfield, Mass.,<br />

Caroline H., daughter <strong>of</strong> Timothy H. <strong>and</strong> Caroline B.<br />

Loomis.<br />

1024. GRACK HOLLAND, b. April 1, 1869; m. May 12, 1891, at Westfield,<br />

Raymond Wesley Richards, s. <strong>of</strong> Rodolphus Palford<br />

<strong>and</strong> Sarah (Burt) Richards. Had, b. in Westfield: (1)<br />

Donald <strong>Lewis</strong>, b. Jan. 20, 1893; (2) Dorothy Pomeroy, b.<br />

Aug. 28, 1894; (3) James Loomis, b. May 2, 1901.<br />

638 Burrill Turner <strong>Lewis</strong>, was born in <strong>Lynn</strong>,<br />

Sept. 19, 1825, <strong>and</strong> died in Marblehead Nov. 24, 1846.<br />

He married in Marblehead, Nov. 19, 1844, Maria Jane<br />

Mailey, b. Aug. 23, 1826, <strong>and</strong> died Mar. 1, 1894, daughter<br />

<strong>of</strong> Thomas <strong>and</strong> Hannah Mailey <strong>of</strong> Marblehead.<br />

Children <strong>of</strong> Burrill T. <strong>and</strong> Maria Jane, born in Marblehead:<br />
