ordered, to convey Mr. Edward Parry to the Town <strong>of</strong> Sturbridge <strong>in</strong><br />

this Colony, and deliver him <strong>in</strong>to the Safe keep<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> the Selectmen <strong>of</strong><br />

Said Town <strong>of</strong> Sturbridge, to be by them deta<strong>in</strong>ed & provided for 'till<br />

further Order ; And if on any pretence whatever he Shall presume to<br />

leave the Said Town <strong>of</strong> Sturbridge, the Said Selectmen <strong>of</strong> said Town <strong>of</strong><br />

Sturbridge, are hereby ordered to apprehend the Said Parry, & put him<br />

under close conf<strong>in</strong>ement, and safely keep him 'till further Orders.<br />

" And the said Lieut. Jonas Parker is hereby further ordered to procure<br />

two pack-Horses for the convenience <strong>of</strong> convey<strong>in</strong>g the Baggages &<br />

Cloaths <strong>of</strong> the said Capt. Knight, & his Company, to the place <strong>of</strong> their<br />

dest<strong>in</strong>ation.<br />

Harsh Treatment The first prisoners Sent <strong>in</strong>to the country<br />

ship Falcon, named <strong>in</strong> the above document,<br />
