Modulationexceeds deviationrange<br />

This message is displayed when modulation is set to a level<br />

that exceeds the operating range of the instrument. This<br />

condition occurs when a modulation level is entered that is<br />

out-of-range for the current RF frequency setting, or when<br />

the RF frequency setting is <strong>ch</strong>anged and the modulation<br />

setting is out-of-range for the new setting.<br />

There arenoregisters available<br />

This message is displayed when an attempt is made to save<br />

a memory register and all of the instrument’s memory<br />

registers have already been used. Delete any unneeded<br />

registers in order to save new ones. Deleting registers from<br />

any sequence will make them available for saving new<br />

settings in the sequence you are using.<br />

004 Invalidunits selection<br />

This message is displayed when a units key is pressed that is<br />

not valid for the active function. Check that the units key<br />

you select is labeled with the appropriate units for the value<br />

you are entering.<br />

005 Increment value entry out of range<br />

This message is displayed when the (INCR] key is pressed<br />

and a value is entered that is not within the increment<br />

value range for the active function. Refer to “Increment<br />

Set” in Chapter lb, “Operation Reference,” for a listing of<br />

the increment value ranges.<br />

006 Endof increment range<br />

This message is displayed when the @) or QJJ increment<br />

arrow key is pressed and the increment value does not set<br />

the instrument to a setting that is within the instrument’s<br />

allowable range. To view or <strong>ch</strong>ange the increment value,<br />

press the @EiGE7~ key. Refer to “Increment Set” in<br />

Chapter lb, “Operation Reference,’ for a listing of the<br />

increment value ranges.<br />

007 Enteredvalue out of range<br />

This message is displayed when a value is entered that<br />

does not set the RF output signal within the instrument’s<br />

allowable range. Refer to “Function” in Chapter lb,<br />

“Operation Reference,” for information on the instrument’s<br />

allowable ranges.<br />

010 Endof knob range<br />

This message is displayed when the knob is turned but<br />

<strong>ch</strong>anging the selected digit would set the instrument to a<br />

value that is not within its allowable range.
