Supplemental Verification Tksts The procedures in this chapter test the electrical performance of the signal generator. These tests do not require access to the interior of the instrument. This chapter contains the following information: Required Test Equipment List Supplemental Verification Tests 9 A list of all the equipment required to perform these supplemental verification tests. For a comprehensive list of all test equipment required to perform these tests plus the manual adjustments, the manual performance tests, and the automated adjustments and performance tests, see Chapter 5, “Service.” The manual supplemental verification tests required to ensure the operation of the signal generator. Each supplemental verification test also has a test record located at the end of the test. Keep these copies as masters and use a photocopy for each instance the test is performed. Caution Before performing this test, make sure the following conditions exist: The signal generator has had at least a one hour warm-up and has been calibrated within the last year. The ambient temperature is 25 f5 “C. The line voltage change is less than 3~5%. Supplemental Verification Tests 9-1
