Receiving the Clear The signal generator responds to a clear message by presetting the<br />

Message instrument. The preset conditions are different depending on whi<strong>ch</strong><br />

language is selected. The following table shows the differences<br />

between a clear message in the compatibility language and a *RST in<br />

SCPI. The parameters for the <strong>HP</strong> 8656B and <strong>HP</strong> 8657A/B are shown<br />
