Options<br />

This <strong>ch</strong>apter contains specifications and supplemental <strong>ch</strong>aracteristics<br />

for the <strong>HP</strong> <strong>8648</strong>A/B/C/D synthesized signal generators.<br />

Specif’lcations describe the instrument’s warranted performance<br />

over the 0 to 50 “C temperature range and apply after a 30 minute<br />

warm-up unless otherwise noted. All performance below a carrier<br />

frequency of 250 kHz is typical.<br />

Supplemental <strong>ch</strong>aracteristics (shown in italics) are intended to<br />

provide information useful in estimating instrument capability<br />

in your application by describing typical, but non-warranted<br />

performance.<br />

The regulatory information is located in the last section of this<br />

<strong>ch</strong>apter.<br />

The <strong>HP</strong> <strong>8648</strong>A/B/C/D synthesized signal generator specifications refer<br />

to several options. Those options are described below.<br />
