About the authors<br />

Tatiana Tabak has been working as a graphic designer since<br />

2005, when she received her bachelor’s degree from PUC-Rio<br />

University. She has recently earned her M. Sc. in Design at the<br />

same institution, where she studied the possible connections<br />

between Design and general Education, using the concepts of<br />

“problem solving” and “complexity” as unifying threads.<br />

Jackeline Lima Farbiarz has a Phd in Education and Language.<br />

She is a Professor at the Department of Arts & Design at PUC-Rio<br />

University, where she also coordinates the undergraduate program.<br />

She is the leader of the Research Group Design in Reading:<br />

subjects and media in process of interaction and has experience<br />

in the areas of Design, Language and Education.<br />
