Student may prevent the release of any or all of the categories of
Directory Information outlined above by notifying the program
director, in writing, of the categories of information the student does
not want disclosed. Notification must occur within 10 calendar days of
the first scheduled day of classes for the fall, spring, or summer
terms. The university will honor all written requests for nondisclosure
for one academic year; therefore, students must request
nondisclosure annually.
5. The right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education
concerning alleged failures by the university to comply with the
requirements of FERPA. The name and address of the office that
administers FERPA is: Family Policy Compliance Office, U.S.
Department of Education, 400 Maryland Avenue, SW, Washington,
D.C., 20202-4605.
