director, in writing, <strong>of</strong> the categories <strong>of</strong> information the student does<br />

not want disclosed. Notification must occur within 10 calendar days <strong>of</strong><br />

the first scheduled day <strong>of</strong> classes for the fall, spring, or summer<br />

terms. The university will honor all written requests for nondisclosure<br />

for one academic year; therefore, students must request<br />

nondisclosure annually.<br />

5. The right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department <strong>of</strong> Education<br />

concerning alleged failures by the university to comply with the<br />

requirements <strong>of</strong> FERPA. The name and address <strong>of</strong> the <strong>of</strong>fice that<br />
