Beauty is in the eye of the beholder<br />

and discuss the relation between gender equality and stereotyping.<br />

Preparation<br />

Collect together 10 diverse pictures of men and women from <strong>Euro</strong>-Med country<br />

magazines/Internet sites.<br />

Mount the pictures on large sheets of stiff paper or card and number them.<br />

Tape them up on a wall as in an exhibition.<br />

Write or print small labels with ♀ (female) and ♂ (male) signs – enough <strong>for</strong><br />

12 labels of each sign per participant.<br />

Make copies of the <strong>work</strong>sheet, one per participant<br />

Sticky tape<br />

Large sheets of paper, pencils and marker pens<br />

Sheets of sticky red and blue stars or dots, one red and one blue star per participant<br />

Sheets of blank labels about 70 × 37mm – 12 labels per participant<br />
