We are grateful to the members of an ad hoc committee that helped us underst<strong>and</strong> the<br />

various plumbing codes <strong>and</strong> the issues surrounding point-of-use meters. These individuals<br />

included Henry Oppermann, Steven Cook, Ken Lake, Jim Nehl, Don Faber, Brad Drier, Wade<br />

Smith, Al Dietemann, Eddie Wilcut, <strong>and</strong> Mike Kobel.<br />

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the members our project oversight<br />

committee (POC) who represented their respective agencies <strong>and</strong> helped guide this effort. The<br />

POC members included: John Flowers, Eileen Lee, Barbara Vassallo, Calvin Finch, Tony Gregg,<br />

Dan Strub, Al Dietemann, John Loughry, Eddie Wilcut, Judi Ranton, G. Hossein Par<strong>and</strong>vash,<br />

Vickie Driver, Kent Sovocool, Tom Babcock, Joe Babcock, <strong>and</strong> Linda Smith.<br />

Finally, this project would never have come to fruition without the guiding spirit of the<br />

project manager Dick Bennett of the East Bay Municipal Utility District. He conceived,<br />

organized, <strong>and</strong> administered the project from day one. His support, diligence, management skills,<br />

<strong>and</strong> enthusiasm were instrumental in every phase of this effort.<br />
