3.5 Digital VideoTracker (DVT) Files
A Digital VideoTracker (DVT) file contains timestamp and tracking information
for an audio video interleave (AVI) format recording. The DVT file is a text file
where each line contains position data for a video frame. An example of a DVT
file for LED mode follows:
1,0.033000,910,35,110,366,19,247
2,0.066000,915,37,112,366,19,247
3,0.099000,927,38,112,366,19,247
…
The format of each line depends on the selected tracker mode. The first column in
the DVT file is the row number, not the frame number. These can become
unsynched when recording is paused.
3.5.1 Object Contour Mode
For Object Contour mode, the format of each line is:
row,time,x,y,m
where:
• row is the row number
• time is the time of the frame in seconds
• x and y is the track position of the target centroid
• m indicates the motion measure value; see “Motion Measure Option” on
page 81
3.5.2 LED Mode
For LED mode, the format of each line is:
row,time,x1,y1,x2,y2,x3,y3
where:
• row is the row number
• time is the time of the frame in seconds
• x1 and y1 is the track position of color #1
• x2 and y2 is the track position of color #2
• x3 and y3 is the track position of color #3
3.5.3 Reflective Colors Mode
For Reflective Colors mode, the format of each line is:
