Allow Primary and Non-Primary Instructors to Enter Grades
This procedure explains how to set up the Electronic Gradebook if you want to allow both
primary and non-primary instructors to enter grades.
1. On the Crosswalk Validation Form (GTVSDAX), take the following actions.
• Enter N in the External Code field for the PRIMINSTR internal group.
• Enter Y in the External Code field for the FACFATT internal group.
2. If you want to use Faculty Attribute Checking to further restrict the ability to enter
grades, take the following actions.
• On the Faculty Attribute/Advisor Type Control Form (SOAFAPC), associate
faculty member attribute codes with the F (Faculty) role for the ENTERGRADES
process.
• In the Faculty Attribute Block of the Faculty Information Form (SIAINST), for
instructors that you want to allow to enter grades, assign a faculty member attribute
code that has been associated with the faculty role on SOAFAPC.
3. Save your changes.
Allow Other Instructors to View Grades
This procedure explains how to set up the Electronic Gradebook if you want to allow other
instructors to view grades.
1. On the Crosswalk Validation Form (GTVSDAX), take the following actions.
• Enter N in the External Code field for the PRIMINSTR internal group.
• Enter Y in the External Code field for the FACFATT internal group.
2. If you want to use Faculty Attribute Checking to further restrict the ability to view
grades, take the following actions.
• On the Faculty Attribute/Advisor Type Control Form (SOAFAPC), associate
faculty member attribute codes with the F (Faculty) role for the DISPLAYGRADES
process.
• In the Faculty Attribute Block of the Faculty Information Form (SIAINST), for
instructors that you want to allow to view grades, assign a faculty member attribute
code that has been associated with the faculty role on SOAFAPC.
3. Save your changes.
