<strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Wilmington</strong><br />
Sec. 18-201. CEM, Cemetery District.<br />
(a) Purpose. This <strong>district</strong> allows more control over the placement <strong>of</strong> cemetery<br />
activities within the <strong>City</strong> and ensures the compatibility <strong>of</strong> the cemetery with the<br />
surrounding land uses, thereby protecting the health, safety and general welfare <strong>of</strong> the<br />
<strong>City</strong> residents.<br />
(b) Density. None.<br />
(c) Uses. Any building and land may be used for the permanent internment <strong>of</strong> one<br />
(1) or more dead human bodies or cremated remains, in addition to any accessory<br />
buildings and uses customarily incidental to the operation and maintenance <strong>of</strong> a<br />
cemetery.<br />
