<strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Wilmington</strong><br />
Sec. 18-194. CB, Community Business District<br />
(a) Purpose. The Community Business District is created to accommodate a<br />
broader range <strong>of</strong> commercial services to meet the daily needs <strong>of</strong> the surrounding<br />
neighborhoods. Development in the CB <strong>district</strong> will reflect both pedestrian and<br />
automobile-oriented types and will be located as directed by adopted plans and<br />
policies, and typically accommodate larger scale retail and commercial service uses<br />
than the Neighborhood Business (NB) District.<br />
(b) Uses Permitted by Right. The following uses are permitted provided that they<br />
meet all requirements <strong>of</strong> this section and all other applicable requirements established<br />
in these <strong>regulations</strong>.<br />
(1) Amusement and recreation services, indoor<br />
(2) Assembly hall<br />
(3) Banking services<br />
(4) Business services<br />
(5) Contractor’s <strong>of</strong>fice<br />
(6) Convenience food stores<br />
(7) Gun sales, including repair<br />
(8) Laboratories, testing<br />
(9) Limited price variety stores less than 10,000 sq. ft.<br />
(10) Liquor stores<br />
(11) Marinas<br />
(12) Medical <strong>of</strong>fices<br />
(13) Motels and hotels<br />
(14) Movie theaters<br />
(15) Nursing and personal care facility<br />
(16) Offices, pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
(17) Parks and recreation areas, municipal<br />
(18) Personal services<br />
(19) Post <strong>of</strong>fice<br />
(20) Residential hotels<br />
(21) Restaurants, standard<br />
(22) Restaurants; fast food, carry-out<br />
(23) Retail sales establishments<br />
(24) Schools, trade or vocational<br />
(25) Spas and health clubs<br />
(26) Upholstery and furniture repair<br />
(27) Veterinary services with enclosed pens<br />
(c) Uses Permitted under Prescribed Conditions. The following uses are<br />
permitted provided that they meet all requirements <strong>of</strong> this section, Article 6, and all<br />
other applicable requirements established in these <strong>regulations</strong>.<br />
