• an evaluation of the potential of<br />

fracture propagation from the<br />

hydrocarbon zone into the water<br />

zone,<br />

(iii) why commingling of the sour gas<br />

will not cause problems, including<br />

contamination of sweet pool, with<br />

supporting technical evaluation,<br />

(iv) why commingling will not<br />

adversely impact recovery from the<br />

oil pool, with supporting technical<br />

evaluation,<br />

(v) why the differences in pressure<br />

between the pools will not be a<br />

safety issue if commingling is<br />

permitted, with supporting<br />

technical evaluation; provide an<br />

explanation of why the higher<br />

pressured zone/s cannot be<br />

produced first so that the pressure<br />

depletion will allow the addition of<br />

lower pressured zones at a later<br />

date,<br />

(vi) why the commingling will not<br />

adversely impact the operation of<br />

the enhanced recovery scheme,<br />

with supporting technical<br />

evaluation, or<br />

(vii) why the commingling will not<br />

have any adverse impacts, with<br />

supporting technical evaluation.<br />

Comments<br />

The parties that must be notified are set out<br />

in the Table 3.1 in Section 3.1.3.5.<br />

You must provide a tabulation of Freehold<br />

owners <strong>and</strong> well licensees notified. The<br />

tabulation should include the legal l<strong>and</strong><br />

description by DSU <strong>for</strong> the area of<br />

notification <strong>and</strong> the names of the mineral<br />

owner(s), except as noted below, <strong>and</strong> well<br />

licensees contacted <strong>for</strong> each DSU.<br />

The tabulation must not include the names of<br />

individual Freehold mineral owners, as this<br />

might raise privacy issues. For these persons,<br />

the tabulation should specify “Freehold –<br />

Individual.”<br />

You must compile a list of the names, legal<br />

description of the l<strong>and</strong> involved, <strong>and</strong> mailing<br />
