Requirements<br />
3) If requesting an extension to the three-month<br />
period <strong>for</strong> <strong>Directive</strong> 051 submission date,<br />
provide<br />
a) the proposed submission date, <strong>and</strong><br />
b) the reason(s) <strong>for</strong> needing the submission<br />
date extension.<br />
Comments<br />
Disposal well approvals <strong>for</strong> non-H 2 S gas<br />
injection issued in advance of <strong>Directive</strong> 051<br />
requirements being met will contain a clause<br />
requiring that the <strong>Directive</strong> 051 in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />
be submitted within three months of the<br />
approval’s issue date. If three months is<br />
not sufficient time to meet the <strong>Directive</strong> 051<br />
requirements, you must request an extension.<br />
If the <strong>Directive</strong> 051 requirements are not<br />
submitted within the three months or other<br />
approved time frame, ERCB staff will<br />
rescind the approval or portion pertaining to<br />
the subject wells. For more in<strong>for</strong>mation on<br />

2000-8.<br />
4) When submitting <strong>Directive</strong> 051 in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />
after the approval has been issued, provide<br />
the field <strong>and</strong> pool name, the disposal scheme<br />
approval number, <strong>and</strong> the well location(s).<br />
5) Provide the following in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>for</strong> either<br />
1) all the wells in the pool if disposal is into<br />
a depleted hydrocarbon pool or 2) all the<br />
wells within the disposal well section <strong>and</strong><br />
adjoining sections if disposal is into an<br />
aquifer system:<br />
There must be hydraulic isolation between<br />
the disposal fluid <strong>and</strong> any other wellbores<br />
drilled into or through the disposal zone.<br />
a) well location,<br />
b) status of well,<br />
c) completion intervals, <strong>and</strong><br />
d) all casing in<strong>for</strong>mation.<br />
