Notification <strong>and</strong> consent will be required as part of any request <strong>for</strong> a surface facility approval associated with waste disposal. A<br />

surface facility approval must be obtained from the ERCB’s Waste Operations Group <strong>and</strong>/or Alberta Environment be<strong>for</strong>e a waste<br />

disposal well approval can be issued.<br />

If a new emergency response plan (ERP) is needed or an existing ERP is updated, conduct notification <strong>for</strong> ERP purposes to all<br />

potentially adversely affected parties <strong>and</strong> provide confirmation of no objection or concerns.<br />
