• Diagnostic visits <strong>of</strong> farmers’ field for identification s <strong>and</strong> suggestions for pest <strong>and</strong><br />

disease management.<br />

• Published popular articles, extension bulletins, folders on protected cultivation.<br />

• Organized kisan mela, gosthi, farmer’s scientist interaction <strong>and</strong> workshop <strong>of</strong> farmers to<br />

create awareness among farmers towards protected cultivation.<br />

• Radio/TV talks on protected cultivation<br />

• Print media (Daily News Paper) <strong>and</strong> electronic media (Mobile Services, <strong>and</strong> voice sms)<br />

are used for quick information <strong>and</strong> message delivered to farmers.<br />

• Provided black polyethylene sheet, poly tunnels, quality planting materials <strong>and</strong> agrochemicals<br />

to farmers as new critical inputs.<br />
