8 THE SPEAKER: My name is Robin Leavy, L-e-a-v-y.<br />

9 I agree with many good things that have already been already<br />

10 been stated. I will try to focus on o<strong>the</strong>r topics that<br />

11 haven't been spoken of yet.<br />

12 I am a nurse. I live in <strong>Bellingham</strong>. I have<br />

13 concerns about health impacts, but <strong>the</strong> physicians who have<br />

14 spoken be<strong>for</strong>e me have covered those very eloquently.<br />

15 I also a birdist. I look up in history at <strong>the</strong>re<br />

16 are unavoidable adverse effects, and <strong>the</strong>re is an alternative<br />

17 I would like you to consider. There is that serious<br />

18 burdened quality on life here in <strong>the</strong> beautiful Pacific<br />

19 Northwest due to <strong>the</strong> long trains going up full and empty<br />

20 every day.<br />

21 It will reduce access and enjoyment of <strong>the</strong><br />

22 coastlines, as that is where <strong>the</strong> tracks are.<br />

23 All of our parks and our state parks would,<br />

24 essentially, be ruined by <strong>the</strong> nearly constant train traffic.<br />

25 Increased vibrations <strong>from</strong> <strong>the</strong> rail cars would cause
