I suggest you reflect on greed <strong>for</strong> coal and honor <strong>the</strong><br />

community's body and soul.<br />

THE SPEAKER: Laurel Felber. <strong>Bellingham</strong>. I live very<br />

close to <strong>the</strong> railroad truss. I request <strong>the</strong> EIS to include <strong>the</strong><br />

impacts of coal dust on human health; waters, such as streams,<br />

ground waters, and marine waters; plant and animal health; and<br />

<strong>the</strong> health of our ecosystems.<br />

I also request that <strong>the</strong> study be comprehensive, to<br />

include not only Whatcom County where I live but include<br />

impacts on <strong>the</strong> entire route of <strong>the</strong> trains <strong>from</strong> Cherry Point to<br />

<strong>the</strong> point of origin in <strong>the</strong> Powder River Basin.<br />

I also request <strong>the</strong> study encompass not only coal dust<br />

emissions <strong>from</strong> trains but also impacts <strong>from</strong> <strong>the</strong> coal processing<br />

plants <strong>the</strong>mselves.<br />

According to <strong>the</strong> BNSF website, <strong>the</strong> coal trains will
