Maintenance and Service 231Maintenance and ServiceCleaning the O-rings and chip interface prevents pressure leaksand current leaks. The O-rings should be cleaned daily, with a morethorough cleaning of the O-rings and chip interface monthly. SeeCleaning the Chip Cartridge.The LabChip GX/GXII Assay User Guides contain LabChip KitEssential Practices and instructions for preparing reagents andplates. Make sure to follow the instructions to ensure the optimumperformance of your instrument.The current version of the Assay User Guides can be accessed onthe Caliper web site at:http://www.caliperls.com/support/reference-library/datasheets/labchip_systems_data_sheets.htm.The cleaning and maintenance procedures are reviewed during thestandard customer training provided with the initial instrumentinstallation.
