She received her PhD in Agricultural<strong>Engineering</strong> at Michigan State University in 1980 <strong>and</strong> is a<strong>for</strong>mer president of the Brazilian Society of Agricultural <strong>Engineering</strong><strong>and</strong> president of the Latin American <strong>and</strong> CaribbeanSociety of Agricultural <strong>Engineering</strong>.Erik de GraaffErik de Graaff a psychologist who majored in the psychology ofwork <strong>and</strong> organization <strong>and</strong> was first involved in the <strong>development</strong>of the problem-based curricula of medicine <strong>and</strong> healthsciences. He then moved to Delft University of Technology tosupport the process of educational innovation at the Facultyof Architecture <strong>and</strong> then the Faculty of Technology Policy <strong>and</strong>Management. Dr de Graaf has contributed to the promotionof knowledge <strong>and</strong> underst<strong>and</strong>ing of higher engineering educationthrough publications <strong>and</strong> through participation in professionalorganizations including SEFI <strong>and</strong> IGIP. In 2006 he wasappointed as associate editor of the European Journal of <strong>Engineering</strong>Education <strong>and</strong> since January 2008 has been Editor-in-Chief of the EJEE.
