Floodplain management plans are similar to hazard <strong>mitigation</strong> plans except for the factthat they focus solely on flood hazards and identifying specific actions to address flooding problemswithin a jurisdiction.There are 13 jurisdictions that have a floodplain management plan.Stormwater Management Plan: A stormwater management plan is designed to address floodingassociated with stormwater runoff. The stormwater management plan is typically focused on design andconstruction measures intended to reduce the impact of minor urban flooding.
