The plan shall include information on previous occurrences of hazardevents and on the probability of future hazard events.5.1 OVERVIEWThis section includes detailed hazard profiles for each of the hazards identified in the previous section assignificant enough for further evaluation through the risk assessment in Volusia County. This includesthe following natural hazards: Atmospheric Hail Hurricane and Tropical Storm Lightning Severe Winter Storm Thunderstorm Tornado Hydrologic Coastal Erosion Drought Flood Storm Surge Geologic Sinkhole Tsunami Other WildfireEach hazard profile described in this section includes a general description of the hazard, its location andextent, notable historical occurrences and the probability of future occurrences. It also includes specificitems noted by members of the Local Mitigation Strategy Working Group (LMS Working Group) as itrelates to unique historical or anecdotal hazard information for Volusia County or a particularjurisdiction.
