293 FacilitiesWenger Hall (1970) is a residence hall named for Arthur D. Wenger (1916-1977), formerpresident of the <strong>College</strong>. All residence hall rooms are provided with connections for computers.Wilson Gymnasium (1966) was named to honor the many contributions made to the <strong>College</strong>by the citizens of the city of Wilson. The building houses the gymnasium, classrooms, locker rooms,offices for the Athletics Director, and offices for the Department of Physical Education and SportStudies, within the School of Arts and Sciences.Approximately six blocks northwest of the main campus is the <strong>Barton</strong> <strong>College</strong> AthleticComplex. This 30-acre property, dedicated in 1979, includes the Nixon Baseball Field, JeffriesSoftball Field, and <strong>Barton</strong>’s soccer field. The Scott Davis Field House was completed in 1993.Across Raleigh Road from the main campus is the <strong>Barton</strong> <strong>College</strong> Tennis Complex andpublic service building.
