Among <strong>the</strong> articles referred to is <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>ory<strong>of</strong> electricity, which I first published in 1848, and which has been approvedby <strong>the</strong> <strong>spirit</strong> <strong>of</strong> Franklin, and, in obedience to his advice, insertedin this volume.
