Turn off the power to the <strong>ICS</strong>-<strong>1000</strong>.2. Open the <strong>ICS</strong>-<strong>1000</strong> front door.3. Loosen the screw on the front ofthe leak sensor (seeFigure 5-18). Note: The screwremains attached to the sensor.LeakSensorLoosenFigure 5-18. Leak Sensor4. Remove the leak sensor fromthe component panel and pullthe cable out of the opening inthe panel.5. The cable attached to the leaksensor connects to a cable insidethe <strong>ICS</strong>-<strong>1000</strong>. Continue pullingthe cable until the connectors forthe two cables are outside of thepanel (see Figure 5-19).6. Disconnect the two cables.DisconnectCablesFigure 5-19. Leak Sensor Cable7. Connect the cable from the new leak sensor to the <strong>ICS</strong>-<strong>1000</strong> cable.8. Feed the cables back inside the <strong>ICS</strong>-<strong>1000</strong>. Align the leak sensor with thecomponent panel opening and fingertighten the screw.9. Make sure the leak sensor does not touch the bottom of the drip tray.5-28 Doc. 031879-01 3/03
