4 • Troubleshootingb. Under Installed Options, verify that the Degas check box is selected.c. Under Degas Mode, verify that the Always Off option is not selected. Ifit is, select one of the following settings:• Cycle, and select On: 30 seconds and Off: 10 minutes• Monitord. If the Degas Mode settings are correct, but the degas assembly still doesnot run, test the assembly by selecting the Always On option. The pumpshould turn on immediately. If it does not, the vacuum degas assemblymay need to be replaced. Contact Dionex for assistance.Select the Degas Mode, Always On option only when testing the vacuumdegas assembly. Do not select the Always On option for routine use.e. If the degas pump runs when you select Always On, but does not runwhen Monitor mode is selected, recalibrate the degas assembly (seeSection 5.1.4).Doc. 031879-01 3/03 4-21
